Affordable Health Insurance

Affordable Health Insurance

Affordable Health Care, also known as Obama Care, is a comprehensive health care reform law that was passed in 2010. It provides access to affordable health coverage for individuals and families, regardless of income or medical history.

The law helps ensure that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care. It also provides subsidies to help with the cost of coverage, as well as protections for those with pre-existing conditions.

Open enrollment typically runs from November 1st to December 15th of each year, and anyone who is eligible can enroll during this time.

Those who are eligible include individuals and families who are not eligible for employer-sponsored coverage or Medicare, as well as those whose income is at or below certain thresholds.
